With a generous donation from Lincolnshire County Council’s Early Years Team the Group had a trip to the Fabric Guild. We bought fabric and put it into packs together with patterns. The ladies came and had a wonderful time making quilts for Project Linus. Sue Hall, PL Co-ordinator from Lincoln and her colleague Lynn Fairhead came along and collected some of the finished quilts so they could distribute them. It was a lovely fun day and we are hoping to hold another in 2013.
During the day we also presented a cheque for £1515 to Chrystal for Macmillan Nurses. This was raised at our exhibition in July. These are the photos from the day.
